Located on the historical George IV Bridge in the heart of Edinburgh’s Old Town, we are a traditional Scottish public house bursting with charm and character.
We are open every weekday from 12pm and 10am on weekends, serving a wide and varied selection of drinks including over 100 different whiskies, a selection of assorted craft ales and sumptuous cocktails. We also provide a diverse menu of classic ‘pub grub’, with ingredients sourced locally and an array of mouthwatering dishes. Our diverse team are sociable, engaging and eager to assist you in any way possible.
Sometimes, good old fashioned pub grub is all you want and need. We aim to provide great value for money, use locally sourced British ingredients and make delicious food that is both homely and comforting.

We host live music Thursday to Sunday from 9pm and we don’t discriminate, whatever your taste in music from traditional folk and ceilidh bands, to rock and rhythm & blues, ska, indie, motown and more! We are certain there is something to suit everyone and all tastes.
We encourage local artists, whether solo acts or full blown bands, playing a mix of music from every era, as well as their own material. It’s all about having a good time and enjoying the atmosphere – singing along and requests welcome!
